Established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is an annual celebration of books that aims to inspire a joy of reading within young people. Anyone, anywhere, can celebrate Children’s Book Week, and this year we invite you to join “Club No Rules. Just Read.” The only membership requirement is to read something – a book, magazine, comic, newspaper, poem, or even an instruction manual – during the week of November 4-10. Read alone, with a friend, or to a group. Read outside or inside, or in the weirdest place you can think of. Read fast or slow, for five minutes or five hours. There’s no rules when it comes to reading!
