Free Library Cards are available to residents of St. John the Baptist Parish. Free Library Cards are also available to those who live outside of St. John the Baptist Parish but are St. John the Baptist Parish property owners, students, or works in the parish.

Residents

Residents of St. John the Baptist Parish can obtain a Library card for no fee if they live, work or go to school in the parish. The card is valid for 3 years.

Non-Resident Card

Non-residents of St. John the Baptist Parish can obtain a Library card for a fee of $5. The card is valid for 1 year.

Children Cards

Children who have not entered the ninth grade and younger must have the library card application signed by an adult parent or legal guardian who must present some form of identification. Children who are 14 years of age or older can apply and receive their own library card.

**To be valid for the purpose of obtaining a library card, the patron must show some form of identification: a driver’s license, identification card, check book with current mailing address, mail with current mailing address, receipt of property taxes payment, pay check stub with employers information, or a receipt for payment of rent or utility charges.**
