Meeting Rooms

Reserve a Meeting Room

Meeting rooms are available at no charge to individuals and groups for educational, cultural, recreational or civic programs benefitting the citizens of St. John the Baptist Parish. The LaPlace and Reserve branches also have smaller study spaces for individuals and small groups.

Meeting rooms may not be used for commercial or money-making activities, social affairs, private parties, or political meetings.

Meeting room reservations should be scheduled and confirmed at least three days in advance. Reservations made online will be pending until a library staff member approves or denies the request. You will be notified of your status and receive further instruction via phone call or email.

Rooms can be reserved by patrons ages 18 and older. An adult must sign the contract for youth groups wishing to use a meeting room space, and all underage meetings must be supervised.

Please read the full Meeting Room Procedures Guide before requesting a room. For more information or assistance with reserving a room, please call the library.
