We are very excited to announce that the Laplace Branch of the library will be opening in the next few months.

Construction began on January 3, 2023.  If all goes as planned, we should be open for business soon!

It’s been a long road since Hurricane Ida and we have been working diligently to provide our services in all of our original locations. We are aware that the Laplace location was a critical facility for our patrons.  We believe that you will be very pleased with the renovations, cheerful design of the space and amazed at how many services we are able to provide in a more compact area.

The space allows for a selection of books and DVDs, computer stations, a meeting room, children’s area, teen area and tutoring space.

We can’t wait to welcome you back!
